A Leap Into Faith part II
There was a long silent pause and suddenly he hung up. Sudden panic took over her and she started crying, a tear rolled down her face followed by many more without even making a single sound. She just ruined the thing she valued the most, the person that was around her without being around. She looked at the shirt she was wearing and remembered that it was the one that they bought together so that they’d match. she looked at her bed and remembered the endless phone calls they had while she laid in it. she looked at the bracelet he got her for her graduation. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and saw him. At that exact moment she bursted crying, screaming and shouting not able to contain herself. When she finally did she decided she would get up and get her a glass of orange juice and saw the cake he got her yesterday for her birthday, she took it out and got a fork and went to her room eating right from it. She then took her phone and found a missed call from him. A smile was instantly drawn on her face ‘don’t get your hopes up idiot you know what he thinks about this.’ She called him back and he immediately picked up ‘how? why?’ And it wasn't in a normal calm tone but it was in a louder tone like he was blaming me. I wiped my tears away and sniffled 'I don't know, I wish I did because if I could I would have stopped it.' He calmed down now 'Do you think that i could ever be in a relationship with you? we are just friends no actually we are more than that you're my sister from another mister, remember?' 'I know I know but you're my best friend you're the only one that i could talk to about this and i just couldn't keep it inside me any longer.' He sighed and said 'maybe you shouldn't have had them in the first place.' and he hung up again once more.
