Untitled.

Intro:
She was wearing her black dress, about to go out. She had her favorite lipstick on, in the shade moulin rouge. He used to like how it looked on her. She remembered that as she clutched the necklace he gave her. She fought off the tears in the corner of her eyes and plastered a smile on her sweet innocent face. With every step she took a memory haunted her; how he used to hold her, the way he stared deep into her eyes, the way he talks to her. He was everything to her. She finally turned on her phone and it bursted with messages and calls. She ignored all that and went straight to the photo album that has every photo of him. She loved the picture of him laughing. The one his friend took of him when he was talking to her on the phone with a big smile on his face. She’s there. She arrived. Her legs were shaking, in fact her whole body was shaking. She was hysterical by now. She started crying and screaming out loud. She pressed her nails so deep in the palm of her hands it left a mark. A girl in her mid-twenties came running to her from across the street. ‘Are you ok?’ She did’t get a respond. ‘Lady are you ok?’ She shook her head no and covered her face now sobbing quietly. She contained her and patted on her back trying to calm her down. A few minutes later she coughed out the words: ‘I need some water.’

The apocalypse:
We’ve been together for about 7 years. We chose our career paths based on each other. We grew up together. We were the water that helped our seeds grow and tangled our branches so we can grow old together. We picked out where we would live. We were engaged 5 months ago and ever since my life has been nothing but perfect. No more hiding our love from the world. No more late night phone calls where we whisper. No more sneaking out just to get to hold hands and maybe steal a kiss. No more lying about why do we spend so much time in our rooms or why we never stop using our phones. The minute we got engaged he came over and parked his car right next to my window and screamed ‘I LOVE YOOUU!!’ A few days ago he was driving back home and he got hit by a car. Some guy that was speed racing i guess or something; it was a hit and run, he didn’t even bother calling an ambulance. He suffered severe internal bleeding and went into a coma for 2 days but he didn’t make it. I remember visiting him that day, i was holding a bouquet of flowers and a cup of coffee. and as i reached his room i heard his mother’s screams. i dropped everything and started banging on the door. ‘He’s not responding doctor.’ I remember hearing the doctor saying: ‘time of death: 10:48am’ and with that i remember nothing but darkness.
